“ Great spot overlooking the river, all the food was great, and the server was very friendly. The service was slower than I would have wanted but it seemed like a more relaxed area where you go to enjoy the view and take your time, so some people might prefer that. Ordered chicken nachos to start and the 10 tacos for $40 as an entree which you can order a variety including fish, shrimp, carne asada, chicken tinga, and pork. I order 2 of each for the '10 taco entree' and honestly all of them were really good, so I recommend to switch it up so you can try each type. Also recommend to sit outside if weather allows because the river is right there, there are great views, and it's always a busier area to do some solid people watching. ”
“ Was craving some Mexican cuisine and decided to try this place since I was staying nearby. Checked in with the host since I made a reservation but decided to sit at the bar since it wasn't busy. I was a little bummed she marked me as a no show later when I checked my app. They had a lot of fun options for margaritas and tequila. I tried 3 things since I couldn't make up my mind. The bartender was accommodating of my needs, not super pleasant, but nice enough. The ambiance was vibrant and decor fit the vibe. Crispy Chicharron- I do love me some pork belly and they give you a heaping scoop of guacamole. My only complaint with this is it was served with a small side of warm salsa. I personally don't eat salsa warm at all so it threw me off when I went to try and did not enjoy it or the flavor. I asked for just regular salsa verde instead (which was cold) 3 tacos - I asked for corn but it was made with flour by accident. They quickly got it fixed for me and the manager even stopped by to apologize and let me know it was working. Very nice! I asked for the mango salsa on the side which I enjoyed. They give you a good amount of meat as well. Chipotle Coffee rub ribs - HOLY COW! This was one of the most amazing ribs I've ever eaten. They were fork tender and the flavors of sweet, savory, spicy and a touch of bitter was excellent! The rice underneath was a great accompaniment and I wish I had more. The tangy slaw on top was a nice touch. I was blown away by this and pleasantly surprised. I will literally be back to only eat this dish and it was a big portion. ”
“ So I know we stopped in here last year for new years but I must have been too celebratory' to write a review. We sat in the bar area again just to have a cocktail. Lots of options and the bartenders are really good. Ambience was mellow given it was New Year's Eve but still festive. ”
“ What a phenomenal meal with our server Maura. I got the Al Pastor tacos 5 for $22 and my mom got the cheese enchiladas for $15. I got a cucumber breeze margarita and my mom got a piña colada margarita. This restaurant is located off of River Street and the JW Marriott River Street area across from graffiti Pizza. The inside of the restaurant reminds me of modern tequila with the exposed metal and the cactus atrium wallpaper. The yarn chandeliers are also a very nice touch. If you haven't been here I definitely recommend it they were some of the best tacos I've ever eaten. 10/10 ”
